Byodo's unfiltered apple cider vinegar is made from freshly harvested, juicy apples. After harvesting, the apples are made into must, which is then fermented into vinegar at warm temperatures. To preserve the full fruit flavor, this fine organic vinegar is not filtered before bottling. Byodo Apple Cider Vinegar, unfiltered, tastes wonderfully full-bodied and goes perfectly with crisp salads and in Asian cuisine.

Like all Byodo vinegars, it is completely natural and not heated. This preserves valuable enzymes and flavors in a delicious way. Turbidity or sediment at the bottom of the bottle, as well as possible flocculation, do not indicate a loss of quality. Quite the opposite! They indicate the natural production method of this organic product. So-called "mother of vinegar" can simply be strained off, and the vinegar can continue to be used normally.

We place great importance on the quality of our organic vinegars, which is why they are not treated with sulfur. Turbidity or sediment at the bottom of the canister is a sign of the natural production method and in no way a quality defect.

Information on production:

Byodo's environmentally friendly vinegar is fundamentally produced from alcohol, meaning, depending on the variety, from red wine, raspberry wine, grain alcohol, etc. The alcohol is filled into large fermentation tanks and gradually fermented into vinegar at temperatures of approximately 25 °C using acetic acid bacteria and oxygen supply. Experts refer to this process as a continuous procedure. Byodo's organic vinegar is not subjected to heat treatment to ensure the preservation of important enzymes and flavorings. All components are 100% organically grown.

Is the Byodo cloudy apple cider vinegar suitable for a vegan diet?

The cloudiness is caused by the natural production process, in which the vinegar is not filtered. Cloudiness or deposits on the bottom of the bottle as well as possible flake formation do not mean a loss of quality, but indicate that the product is produced naturally.
