The olives are processed into olive oil of controlled organic quality using mechanical methods such as pressing and centrifuging. This olive oil is saponified with potassium hydroxide and forms the main ingredient of Sonett Olive Laundry Detergent for Wool and Silk. Olive oil is known for its mild re-fattening effect and its balanced fatty acid composition. It also has a healing and balancing effect on the heart and circulatory system. The special closeness and relationship of this oil to humans is illustrated by the remarkable 7-year cycle of the olive tree's development.
In addition to olive oil soap, the detergent contains rapeseed oil soap and sunflower oil soap. These vegetable oils are also saponified with potassium hydroxide and enhance the product's cleaning power. Rapeseed, flax, and sunflowers are grown in our temperate Central European climate and come from controlled organic quality.
Sonett Olive Laundry Detergent also contains ethanol, which is obtained through the fermentation of starchy plants like corn and potatoes. Ethanol helps keep the soap liquid and simultaneously improves the detergent's grease-dissolving power.
Another ingredient is sugar surfactant, which is made from sugar, starch, and coconut fat. The proportion of sugar surfactant in the detergent is adjusted to keep the lime soap formed in hard water finely dispersed in suspension, thus preventing it from settling on the laundry.

Store preferably between 10 and 25 °C. At temperatures below 10 °C, the product changes and becomes somewhat thicker and cloudy, which will disappear with warmth, possibly by gently shaking.
Important note:Keep out of reach of children.
Area of application:
For delicate laundry, wool and silk up to 40 °C; in the washing machine and for hand washing.
Application
Add to the detergent compartment of the machine. Do not spray the concentrated detergent onto dry laundry. Delicate fabrics could change color as a result.
Dosage in a 4.5 kg washing machine
Water hardness soft + medium: 60 ml
Water hardness hard: 90 ml
Yield
1 liter of olive laundry detergent for wool and silk is sufficient for 17 washes in soft and medium water hardness, with a load of approx. 2.5 kg.
Recommendation
Add Sonett Laundry Rinse Aid to the softener compartment: 40 ml per wash. Refreshes delicate colors, helps rinse out detergent residues better and smooths the fibers.
Hand wash
Add 15–30 ml per approx. 5 liters of water to the filled water, then place the laundry items in it. Move gently. Adjust the rinse water to the temperature of the wash water to avoid thermal shock.
