Salus Stagnant Water Analysis – Precise Water Analysis for Old and New Buildings

With the Salus Stagnant Water Analysis, you gain insight into the quality of water that remains in the pipes for longer periods (e.g., overnight). This analysis is particularly valuable in older buildings to detect a possible accumulation of metals such as copper and zinc and to ensure that no lead pipes are installed.

  • Analysis in our in-house laboratory: Our environmental and health analyses are carried out under the highest quality standards.
  • Relevant investigation for stagnant water: During stagnation, metals such as copper and zinc can accumulate in the water – a stagnant water analysis reveals how much these values increase.
  • Important health check for old buildings: Stagnant water analysis is particularly recommended in old buildings over 100 years old, as outdated pipes are often present here.
  • Parameters according to the Drinking Water Ordinance: Essential elements such as aluminum, lead, cadmium, iron, copper, nickel, and zinc are tested to ensure that the water poses no health risks.
  • Comparison with fresh water analysis: For a comprehensive assessment, a fresh water analysis is also recommended to get a complete picture of the water quality.
