General Information
Black cumin was considered particularly valuable as early as ancient Egypt. The oil pressed from it is very popular both in food and in cosmetic applications due to its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids and its uniquely spicy taste.

Usage
The pungent and spicy oil pairs very well with oriental dishes and is excellent for refining foods, e.g., salads, sauces, and vegetable dishes, or for pure application as a cure, or mixed with honey or juice. In addition, it contains 0.5 to 1.5 percent essential oils and is therefore very popular in aromatherapy. It is also recommended for external use, for example, for inflammation or minor skin injuries.

Consumption of black cumin oil should be avoided during pregnancy.

Storage Instructions
Store at room temperature and protect from light. After opening, store in the refrigerator.

Recipe Suggestion
Chicken breast in a vegetable bed with lemon. Ingredients for 1 packet: -1 chicken breast - 2 small carrots - ½ zucchini - 1 white turnip - ¼ lemon - 2 tsp coriander - salt and pepper - 1 tsp BIO PLANÈTE black cumin oil. Peel the carrots and turnips and cut them into long wedges. Slice the zucchini into thin round discs. Now spread out a large piece of baking paper and place the first half of the vegetables in the center of the paper. Then place the chicken breast on top and arrange the lemon in thin slices over the meat. Sprinkle with coriander as desired, layer the remaining vegetables over it, and season with salt and pepper. Finally, tie everything together into a packet and bake in the oven at 180 °C for 25 minutes. Open the oven-warm packet, let it cool slightly, and drizzle with black cumin oil.
