Information on manufacturing:
The first step in the production process involves cleaning the saltworks, followed by filling it with seawater using pumps. Over a period of several months, the seawater passes through various basins. The action of sun and wind causes the water to evaporate, leaving behind a crust of salt. Once the salt crystals take on a solid structure, the salt is "harvested".
