Byodo Premium Organic Sea Salt comes from a biosphere reserve on the Spanish Atlantic coast.
Our salt is obtained from pure seawater and is therefore of particularly high quality. Through the natural evaporation of seawater in the salt pans with the help of sun and wind, a salt crust forms. This is carefully harvested, washed, sieved and gently photo-sensorically cleaned.
The natural organic salt contains no anti-caking agents - for pure enjoyment.

Information on production:
The first step in the production process involves cleaning the saltworks, followed by filling it with seawater using pumps. Over a period of several months, the seawater passes through various basins. The action of sun and wind causes the water to evaporate, leaving behind a crust of salt. Once the salt crystals form a solid structure, the salt is "harvested".
