The Byo-Protect process gently and naturally filters heat-sensitive plant substances from the oil. The Mild Frying Olive Oil is the ideal choice for roasting, grilling, or deep-frying when a subtle olive note is desired that subtly enhances the inherent taste of the dish.

Byodo's organic frying oil is an excellent choice for deep-frying. Unlike coconut fat, which mainly contains saturated fatty acids, it consists predominantly of monounsaturated fatty acids.

Production Information:

Through the Byo-Protect process, heat-sensitive plant substances are filtered out of the oil in all Byodo organic frying oils, including Brat-Olive Mild, in an extremely gentle and natural way, which allows it to be heated to high temperatures. As part of the Byo-Protect process, the oil is first carefully and purely mechanically filtered to remove coarse components. Natural clay minerals then bind additional plant substances. Finally, gently applied steam removes the last fine particles from the oil. In this way, the organic Brat-Olive Mild achieves its high-heat capability.

When choosing cooking oil, we always recommend paying attention to quality and selecting an organic frying oil. This ensures that the product contains no unwanted ingredients. Furthermore, the olive oil used for frying should not contain heat-sensitive plant compounds. Therefore, when purchasing, look for the organic seal and the designation "Bratöl" (frying oil). "Extra virgin" olive oil, on the other hand, should not be heated strongly.

Normal olive oil should not be heated above 180 degrees Celsius. If this happens, the healthy unsaturated fatty acids are converted into harmful substances. If you want to use olive oil for frying, deep-frying, and grilling, make sure it is labeled "heat-stable" or choose suitable frying oils.
