The salt is produced using a method over 1000 years old, which involves natural brine from deep springs, giving the product its name "deep salt." In Europe's only active pan-boiling saltworks, the brine is heated in large pans and boiled at around 70°C, producing high-quality evaporated salt. This salt, uniodized and without additives, crystallizes, is harvested, and then dried.
