Byodo red wine vinegar is a strong, aromatic vinegar that is ideal for refining sauces and salads. Game dishes, in particular, acquire a pleasant, strong taste with this red wine vinegar.

In terms of taste, wine vinegar differs from apple cider vinegar due to its specific acidity and characteristic aroma. Due to the higher alcohol content in red wine, a more intense acidity develops during the fermentation of red wine vinegar. The fine grape note gives the vinegar a rounded flavor. Organic vinegars must not be treated with sulfur, which is why all our high-quality Byodo vinegars are completely sulfur-free.

Turbidity, deposits at the bottom of the bottle, and any flaking do not impair the quality. Rather, they are indicators of the natural production of this organic product. So-called "mother of vinegar" can be easily sieved out, and the vinegar can continue to be used as usual.

Information on production:

Byodo's environmentally friendly vinegar is fundamentally produced from alcohol, meaning, depending on the variety, from red wine, raspberry wine, grain alcohol, etc. The alcohol is poured into large fermentation tanks and gradually fermented into vinegar using vinegar bacteria and oxygen supply at temperatures of approximately 25 °C. Experts refer to this process as a continuous procedure. Byodo organic vinegar does not undergo a heating process to preserve the valuable enzymes and flavors. After production, the organic red wine vinegar is merely filtered, which maintains its appealing red color. All raw materials used are 100% organically grown.
