The oregano from this region stands out due to its intensely aromatic taste and a finely tart note, which makes it indispensable in Mediterranean cuisine. From pizza to pasta to salads with feta, mozzarella, and tomatoes, oregano gives these dishes a perfect finish.

Herbaria Oregano is an essential component of Mediterranean cuisine; oregano, with its distinctive taste, enriches numerous dishes such as pizza, pasta, and salads with feta, mozzarella, and tomatoes. Ingredients & Production

Ingredients:

Oregano*
*from controlled organic cultivation

Information on production:

Herbaria Oregano comes from a certified organic farm in Rhineland-Palatinate, run by the Hammann family. The farm is located in the picturesque surroundings of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley near the Loreley Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Since 1986, the Hammann family has been a proud member of Bioland and has been successfully cultivating oregano for many years. The leaves are carefully harvested before flowering, as they have the most intense aroma at this time. After harvesting, they are roughly cut and immediately gently dried on the farm. Subsequently, further processing takes place, where the leaves are cut to the desired size and the stems are removed. Through another process, fine components are sieved out, so that only the high-quality oregano leaves remain.
