The climatic conditions there are very suitable for growing sugarcane. Since sugarcane must be processed immediately after harvesting, Naturata sources the raw material from the region where a sugar mill is located that is capable of producing the respective type of sugar. This sugar still contains the full molasses content of the sugarcane. After harvesting, the sugarcane is freed from its leaves, crushed, pressed several times between simple rollers, and then squeezed. The fibrous parts are filtered out. To bind fine turbidity in the sugarcane juice, the juice is clarified with a small amount of slaked lime. The sugarcane juice is gently thickened at low temperatures and slight vacuum.
